Last night at Renniegades, Michelle Morton, owner/founder/Managing Director of E-Cycle recovery and CRT Australia, with the Inaugural Anna Rennie Chapter International Women's Day Award.

By honouring one of our own, the Chapter joins a global web of rich and diverse local activity to draw attention to the amazing achievements and on-going struggles of women all around the world.

Driven by her passionate concern for the environment and a vision to "save the planet" , in just 5 years, Michelle has created 2 successful companies that recycle all types of e-waste in an ethical, transparent and socially responsible manner. These values not only describe her approach to her business ventures but they epitomise Michelle and the way she lives her life.

As well as recognising her business innovation and entrepreneurial achievements, the Chapter particularly  recognises Michelle's personal persistence and resilience, her willingness to learn, her courage to take risks and her unfaltering commitment to our environment.  "Michelle, your achievements offer inspiration to other women who are wanting to make a difference but perhaps lack the self belief and courage."
